Am frühen Nachmittag fahren wir mit dem Bus nach Colón, zur Hafenstadt am anderen Ende des Panamakanals. Mit 250'000 Einwohnern ist Colón viel kleiner als Panama City. Die Stadt gilt nicht als sicher, daher nehmen wir von der Busendstation gleich ein Taxi zum Bahnhof. Um 17.15 Uhr verlässt der Zug den Bahnhof von Colón Richtung Panama City.
